Hi, We got a pair of dudes there that runs vista32 with 3GB. One guy : Vista32 Nvidia gtx280-1GB drivers updated Fresh install build 342 lite Antivirus deactivated Hangs everytime single or online Steps to reproduce : Launch clio+loch drummond and begin to add ai until it hangs I advised this simracer to get his window replaced by win7-64... Any other ideas?
Run game in windowed mode, start adding AI and watch RAM in Task Manager to see if it's being exhausted.
I typed my reply quickly because I was on my phone but yeah... before buying RAM (and a 64-bit OS that can use it) confirm that he's actually running out of RAM. Also, check Task Manager to see if any other process is using large amounts of RAM and run a malware scan to ensure something like a Bitcoin miner isn't pushing the system too hard when the sim is running. It might be a good idea to monitor the temps on the video card... that's an older card and could need the dust cleaned out.
The software will "run" with 2GB of RAM, but you will not be able to add options like many AI, etc, until you have more. 4GB+ is recommended.
Yeah : you are true Tim, I thought you were the communication guy, but you're really good on this one it´s only 2 GB per process with win32 bits !!! I'm negociating to install him a seven-64 !!! Thank you all and I'll let you know if things are worst or better after this "task" ... Heavy negociation to replace his windaube but : my friend is a true guy cause he's not playing ps3

You know Tim... Guys do like us to help them but for the feedbacks ... They do complain during weeks and when we find the issue : we don't here about them anymore... One thing that´s sure is that he was limited to 2Gb per process on 32 bits and not anymore Thanks for your help : I'll give you the last guy's feedback asap There's a champ tomorrow night and the first guy will be there.
Another one : Replaced vista32 to win7-64 : problem solved, can now add more than 10 AI on Nordschleife...
