Welcome to VRrF2LN Season 2026!
The Virtual Racing rFactor2 Endurance Championship Nürburgring (VRrF2LN) will enter its ninth season in 2026 and will thus be the sixth time it has been held under the umbrella of Virtual Racing e. V.
During the 2025 summer break, the VRrF2LN series underwent some minor but significant changes. The race duration was shortened to 2 hours and 15 minutes to allow solo drivers to participate and to considerably increase the number of cars.
In 2026, the focus is on keeping the series going. Therefore, there are almost no changes to the cars or the regulations.
The car selection remains almost unchanged. Only the SP3 class bids farewell to the Renault Clio Cup, which lost its appeal in 2025, and welcomes the Mazda MX-5 Cup. Class Balance of Performance (BoP) adjustments and improvements from previous years remain in place.
The rulebook is also essentially unchanged. The exception is that the entire race day is shortened by 30 minutes, primarily affecting qualifying and making it a bit more intense.
In 2026, the championship races – with the exception of the 1st and 9th races – will always take place on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month.
The opening race of the VRrF2LN will take place on February 7, 2026.
Further information regarding the upcoming VRrF2LN season will be announced in the forum soon.

Registration
Registration takes place in the forum.
The VRrF2LN consists of a grid with a maximum of 50 vehicles. The grid is divided into 6 classes, each with 15 starting places. The first 15 season registrations in each class receive regular team places (ST), provided the maximum number of possible teams (50) has not yet been reached. All other season registrations are initially reserve team places (ET). Reserve teams can take up free starting places in a championship race if necessary.
Requirements for eligibility to start (please note the different deadlines!):
• A valid registration for the current season must be submitted.
• A valid registration for the current championship race must be submitted.
• A skin accepted by the admins must be submitted.
• The VR half-yearly fee must be paid for the registered team by the named team leader. This must be the VR half-yearly fee for the current half-year at the time of season registration. Of course, the annual fee for the current calendar year also counts.
== > For large teams with sub-teams, the same person may not be "team leader" in several sub-teams, i.e. each registered vehicle requires a different team leader (contributor).
