Welcome to VRrF2LN 2025!

The Virtual Racing rFactor2 Endurance Championship Nürburgring (VRrF2LN) will be entering its eighth season in 2025, marking the fifth time it has been run under the umbrella of Virtual Racing e. V.

As in the previous year, the administrative focus will continue to be on consistency and improvement, rather than numerous changes.

Participants can still expect 6 vehicle classes, as well as seven 4-hour races and one 6-hour race, but the season will be extended to a 9th championship race.

As our series VRES is paused at least in 2025, the popular 24-hour race on the Nordschleife will move to the VRrF2LN as the regular and first championship race of the season. In order to enable small teams to take part in the 24-hour race, a merge of 2 teams will be permitted for this event.

The vehicle selection will also remain largely constant. Class BOPs and improvements from previous years will of course remain.

The rules have also actually remained unchanged. Basically, changes consist almost entirely of clarifications and small corrections.
But there is also an adjustment here. From 2025 on, VRrF2LN will be based on the "uniform points model" introduced in the NLS in 2022.

At first glance, the championship races in 2025 seem to be somewhat unsorted in the calendar. Three "real life" 24-hour races on three consecutive weekends in June and our wish to only schedule the replacement date in December will ensure that two championship races will be held two weeks apart in the second half of the year.
The opening 24-hour race of the VRrF2LN will take place on February 22nd/23rd, 2025.

Further information on the upcoming VRrF2LN season have already be announced in the forum.

Registration
Registration takes place in the forum.
The VRrF2LN consists of a grid with a maximum of 50 vehicles. The grid is divided into 6 classes, each with 15 starting places. The first 15 season registrations in each class receive regular team places (ST), provided the maximum number of possible teams (50) has not yet been reached. All other season registrations are initially reserve team places (ET). Reserve teams can take up free starting places in a championship race if necessary.

Requirements for eligibility to start (please note the different deadlines!):
• A valid registration for the current season must be submitted.
• A valid registration for the current championship race must be submitted.
• A skin accepted by the admins must be submitted.
• The VR half-yearly fee must be paid for the registered team by the named team leader. This must be the VR half-yearly fee for the current half-year at the time of season registration. Of course, the annual fee for the current calendar year also counts.
== > For large teams with sub-teams, the same person may not be "team leader" in several sub-teams, i.e. each registered vehicle requires a different team leader (contributor).
