Virtual Mirrors - I keep cutting people up

I often cut fellow racers up becuase in my Vitual Mirrors they seem far enough away.

However when I press Look Back, I discover they are in fact a lot closer.

So is there a way to get my Virtual Mirrors to show more representative view?

 

Hold shift and ctrl together and press your seat adjustment for backwards or forwards to adjust distance. You may have to make an adjustment after to make the car look the correct width. Hold shift and ctrl together and press your seat adjustment for up and down. Hope this helps.

You could also use Crew Chief with its spotter
