How much history is required, for it not to be considered modern?. Its a modern venue, if it is post 80's?. Since my reply, was to a post saying modern tracks wouldn't have haybales. The Miller 200 layout is from the 90's, it was the new addition for rF1 and the CartFactor mod. The track was originally, from an era older than that, since it was made for the Prototype C mod. Its what I, and others, might consider, an historic (important or likely to be important in history) layout.
I never said it wasn't an historic version, all I said is that the no chicane variant didn't exist until 1990. And if what you say in the quote is true, it's inaccurate. That's all.
Thanks so much for your attention to these small details! Have we reached perfection now? If not, it's darned close!!
Did a 10 lapper with the ferrari challenge mod and 20 AI cars. Didn't look to rubbered up when we finished.
Firstly, the course was not made for a specific mod or year. It was made to be representative of the era from 1977 to 1993 since that is the span of time cars of the GTX5 (1977 to ~1982) and Prototype C (~1983 to 1993) mods raced. As far as we are concerned, that era qualifies as being historic, where racing is concerned.
Are rolling starts still a bit broke? Or is it mod specific? With the EGT mod the AI turned left into the pit wall on the start
thanks guys for this fantastic track....but I have a problem with AI of indycar...it's too slow...I put 120 % on game but the AI is around a maximun 1.10.xxx....it's too slow...how can I do?
The Indycars sometimes use the oval downforce package on road courses. I don't know how to change it.
I don't think this can be changed... ISI need to make an update for the Indycars, which I think is underway.
