[REL] [Virtua_LM] Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Thank you thank you thank you, the best track makers ever and you are still looking after us.

Would love to see you guys make a modern version of Road America as well as release your historic version of Rouen for RF2.

This and This.

Beautiful, high quality track. Love the signage. Track looks and feels alive - don't know how else to describe it.

Thank-you for this.

if a good version of Watkins glen is coming to rfactor 2 that's a pretty big deal, I'm glad it's in the hands of Virtua_LM
a lot of people's favourite track

EDIT -I'm sure I can actually see some subtle camber in this track surface too

Many thanks for this I absolutely love this track!

On top of that you guys somehow made it an even smaller file size than 191. Share your secrets! ;)

How can we fix the AIW ourself?

There are unfortunately too many steps to cover all of it in a forum post, but it is not that hard to do. The basic gist of it is to get the track loaded into the developer mode of rF2, load it up, use the AIW editor, drive to the area where the blocking path goes askew, select the waypoints around it and then select "normalize curve," repackage it, and install it to your normal rFactor2 installation.

I know that's not a detailed enough explanation, but if you read the AIW editing PDF in the modding section here(only a few pages long--most of which is irrelevant to editing an existing AIW), you'll figure it out. Starting from zero knowledge of AIW editing, I had it sorted in about a half hour. It's probably five minutes work for someone who knows what they're doing.

Unfortunately, since it's just a small modification of VLM's original work, the fixed AIW is not something that can be distributed. Given the ease of the fix though, I presume VLM will have something official in relatively short order anyways.

nice update , just one thing, I run min. track detail but this track looks ( & performs fps wise ) like the track is on med/high detail
so many unnecessary objects everywhere eating fps ( whilst in min track detail ) be good if all these object can be taken out for any future updates ( for the min track detail setting )

apart from that nice track big thanks

yeah, looks fantastic, better than iracings version to me tbh. not a big fan of the track but ill gladly take anything vlm is offering ;D

Mosport would be superb.

Mosport, Zolder, Watkins Glen and redone Phillip Island and I'm gone for some time with them ;)

So many cool tracks on the horizon. New Spa for example. Waiting for A1 ring (don't know if there one already) better Suzuka would be nice too.

very nice track, great work. Definitely one of the best third-party tracks so far. I hope there's soon a fix for the Indycars to use road course setups... and maybe the creators could change the haystacks into movable objetcs.

The Miller 200 layout (the ChampCar track) has cones instead of haybales. Also, it is meant to be a historic venue.
