Maybe you have mixed something up. Happened to me with the AM and Venom and I wondered why the Venom has a max speed of 180kph on Mulsane. can´t find a rf2data Folder. I put the svm´s to C:\rfactor2\userdata\player\settings\lemans91 Lemans91 was wrong. Only the Settings Folder is the right way?
THX Ok the lemans Folder was the wrong way. It works under Settings, but not with every Corvette and every AM. Some of them are using the standart Setup again und run into the limiter, others are faster depending of the car number or Skin. ???
Team name for Corvette #70 is "Labre Competition". Just create a copy of the file "LeMans91_Corvette Racing.svm" and rename it to "LeMans91_Labre Competition.svm". Have to check the AM's.
IS there a quick fix for Night Racing? I was doing testing for next months special event, and track never got dark. headlights weren't needed at any point with 2 hr race, time scale 15x. EDIT at 12am the sky got pretty dark, but still headlights werent needed. I just put a disclaimer within the registration topic about view during night hours of race. that'll take a key element out of the event, but guess ill live with it
I just tested this and night sky and surrounding's were black as black for me , I tried to upload a shot i took but im out of free uploads lol I took a shot where you could see the clock by start finish ,it reads 10:45 PM and the sky is jet black ,all cars have bright headlights .. maybe its mod related ? I had a mix of ISI GT's and all URD's endure cars.. was I very cool race ! set time to 15x as well no probs with night time here ..
I tried with HDR and without and it's plenty dark. Not pitch dark, but dark enough you shouldn't drive without headlights.
I have a very strange performance issue with LeMans... Using the TV cameras, I get some MASSIVE stuttering almost all around the track, which doesn't happen for example on ISI's Silverstone or Virtua_LM's Sebring. I have basically all settings maxed out except for soft particles which are set to low and wind and crowd animations are set to off. Going around the track, the framerate stays locked at 120fps, but then suddenly it dips dramatically to something like 60fps, but the game looks like it's running at 10-20fps. Noticeable sections are (especially visible and heavy when using the TV cameras) when the car goes through the first corner and the little chicane, the corner which leads into the first section of the Hunaudières Straight and the 90° right hand corner at the end of the Hunaudières Straight (the Mulsanne corner). I switched back to another driver revision for my GTX770 because I thought the new driver was causing issues, but that wasn't the case. Could it be a build 660 issue, or is it an issue with the track? It happens when driving myself, letting the AI drive and even when watching a replay. I monitored my CPU load (Core i7 920 @ 3,6GHz and deactivated Hyperthreading) when I watched the replay again, just one car on track, and when the car went through the Mulsanne corner my CPU usage went up to 98% on the first core, the rest a little bit lower, but all close to 90%. The result is the super heavy stuttering which looks like 10fps on screen, while the GPU framerate still reads something between 60 and 70. The funny thing is, when the car goes through the corner, the framerate dips instantly, but pausing the Replay at that moment will make the framerate crawl up to 120 again, but slowly and progressively. What could be the cause for this? Is this "normal" for LeMans? Driver issues/build issues? All I know is my system runs fine anywhere else and stays around 60°C for both CPU and GPU.
Ok, found this hint which dramatically reduced the stuttering at said locations' TV cams for me. Definitely no placebo. I set it to auto again and the stuttering was back, setting it to 1 and it's almost not noticeable, if at all.
Remebered you did this Tosch as I was having troubles with the updated URD mod and AI setups, but I cant get this to work with Silverstone_International because of that _ (underscore) the game thinks the team is "International", mega annoying! Worked at Palm Beach although it's not the "Trackname" but the very first line of the GDB so: PalmBeachRC EDIT: sorry of OT, did a search and thought this was in the URD thread!
Hi guys, I've had yesterday nigth a video freeze, for about 5 seconds, than I crashed to the barrier. I did just few laps and just one time this problem. My collegue also is having very small freeze but 2/3 times for laps. Anyone else have this problem?
I get strange micro stutters during replay but I've always had on and off micro stutters with vlm tracks in rf2. I have no idea how to fix this as it seems there are so few with this problem.
