I'm working on the driver animation, i just set a few frames for the testing, and when i look from outside the car, i see the animation, but in cockpit view i don't see the driver hands and the animation. Anyone knows what's the problem?
I checked. I think this one: Steering Wheel="0" // 0=moving steering wheel, 1=non-moving steering wheel, 2=no steering wheel or arms (in cockpit only while player-controlled), 3=moving steering wheel but no arms But you see, the setting is 0 which is good i think.
editing the .plr setting only affects single/multiplayer. in-game single player settings/display, there is a steering wheel options, notice it has 4 settings not mentioned in the plr. guess the plr file needs some updates/corrections. if your viewing your work in developer mode, you set your steering wheel view choice within dev mode/settings/display. changing that setting in single/multi player does auto edit to the .plr file, i have no clue where the dev mode setting gets written to... maybe helpful.
i tried both, single and dev mode, change in-game the wheel setting but nothing, still i don't see the arms in cockpit.
Ok i did it. But in dev mode still doesn't work. I just create again an rfcmp with the same anim and now work in single player mode.
Hey guys, I have a problem with the animation, when load the game, the animation works perfectly but the pilot's position is not adjusted copckit, someone can help me with this? Thanks. View attachment 3232
You need to redo the animation, you just can't move it. AFAIK, the position of each limb on the biped is a global thing, I will double check this with Lo and get back on that, but I'm quite sure of it. That driver is only a sample of what you need to do, its not a model you can just put in to any car. Each driver animation is unique to the individual car Start by selecting every piece of the biped and delete all the keyframe data, then do your steering rotation calculation based on the complete car doc, set your centre frame, then turn on autokey, select and move bip01 to the seat and begin making the animation.
Thank you very much now works perfect. View attachment 3233 The animation is not perfect but it's my first try. Regards.
There where still animation from ISI in the fingers, like you adviced me, I eliminated them and created my own in the hands. Then the pìlot appeard in the position I had him in the 3DMAX. Thank you very much.
Hi all, I'd like to ask your help. I've read the posts before and I saw Montesky had the same problem as I do. To be honest I did not really find the way to solve the problem in this thread. I used the ISI's rF2 sample driver after erasing all the keyframes from the animation. Then I moved only the Bip01 into the cockpit and I created half of the animation (center to left lock). I made a keyframe to the right lock position just to become the animation "complete" I wanted to see the driver in the game, I did the anim file and I exported the driver mesh to a GMT file. The game has never crashed, but the driver looks terribly on the track. I tried to move the polys of the driver mesh in submesh mode, but it didn't help. Here is a link to my album to show the problem. https://picasaweb.google.com/118073331525782682944/RF2Driver?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCJHH7cnZ48WdHw&feat=directlink I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!
Everytime I try to move my view around the ISI driver model it jumps out of view. How do I center this model? Everytime I try the model becomes corrupted or doesn't appear to move. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
