VIDEO: rFactor2 BETA, my first online experience. I wanna thanks ISI!!!

I can't stop saying that rF2 will be simply Great!
I read in various forums good and bad things about this Beta, but everytime i drive, my only feel still: how amazing!!!
This is the first video with rFactor2 i show in my blog and i want to thanks all the ISI guys for that release:

It looks like many people complain about the framerate, shadows, 2d crowd and formula renault 3.5 handling! I hope it will be fixed soon!

 

well.... i have no complains for the graphics, still a Beta and it is not a surprise if quality, in the definitive release, will not reach the pC.A.R.S.'s one: but the one shown on this Beta is good, and generate some trouble with older g-cards, that is the reason for someone to complain the framerate. with my Geforce GTX 560 i reach 160 fps at Monte Carlo (10 cars on track) if i scale something from full to high, and i still have 80/110 with all full and anisotropic at 16x. my g-card is not the better on sale at this moment, and we must think that in the next 6 months there will be at least two generations of new g-cards.
honestly i don't have any interest in animated crowds or similar... rF2 must will be the best chose in simracing, not in screenshots generators or similar.... and the potential to reach this goal is at high level. we must wait for Simbin next release... pC.A.R.S. is far at this moment from being a simracing.... and rF2 will have greatest modding teams as support!
about the renault 3.5 handling at the moment i have not idea, i have driven these cars just one or two times.
the only thing i'm sure about is that physx is pretty good and ffb is steps beyond the rF1's one!!!

 

ah, another little thing about fps performance: when the ambient occlusion (not present in this Beta) will be introduced then all things will go better.

....values are the max fps reached, these are not constant values, in both cases i have heavy oscillation with fps negatives peacks that if i set to 16 the anisotropic filter becames around 80.
In my preferred settings oscillation is around 90/160.

 

no point having it at 160 fps.....turn up the settings a bit, as long as your baseline fps is above 60 then you wont notice it.
should do that easy on that low single screen res.

 

1440x900 is the higher res supportd by my SyncMaster, i can't try better resolutions... probably is the only way to have a good fps, i don't know.
