V8 Supercars 2012

Any recent news on this mod? Upcoming changes planned?

I think I saw some early body shell renders of the Erebus and the Nissan somewhere but that's about all I've heard lately. Our league loves racing the V8SCs so this is on our radar. :)

Our latest version of the 2012 cars is 0.40, and we are working on some new updates for this mod. The COTF cars are very much in the works :)

I don't understand why the 2012 years is produced for RF2 when we are now into our second year with the COTF being run in the real world series. I do hope someone is working on the modern rendition of the V8 Superdoopercars.

Does these really have such a low steering range? (reffering to default value)

These sound and look pretty good but I can't enjoy them at least with near to default setup. Is it normal to spin with 3rd gear when not even hitting the floor? :p

Sweet. Will the blown out mirrors be addressed?

Marto, mate, if he isn't he surely is now

V8 Supercars are boldly considering removing the iconic "V8" from the name of Australia's third biggest national sport as Holden contemplate building V6 Commodores in China.

Holden delivered a car industry bombshell on Wednesday by confirming Australian manufacturing would end in 2017 following a directive from GM Holden's American headquarters and a failed gamble with the Federal Government.

News Limited can reveal the death sentence to the Australian-made legend has resulted in V8 Supercars secretly plotting a name change and category shake-up with the "V8'' Holden facing extinction.
:(

Wont matter much after this year anyway now that they've done a deal to put the V8's on pay TV and only showing 6 rounds on free TV. Their going to loose a great number of viewers over this.

If you don't have foxtel now are you going to sign up for just another monthly bill to add to all the others you already have just to watch the other 7 or 8 rounds of the V8's?

I know I wont be!

They call it getting more eyes on the screen?????

Damn thats a shame. Australia just isn't what it use to be. Won't be long before free to air sees its ass too.

I will probably wait for some stupid foxtel deal and sign up.

Just for a example ATM considering you'll need sports channels right now there's a 6 month deal going that includes sports for a monthly cost of $49 Aus a month for the first 6 months. On the 7'th month this increases to $74 Aus a month. Plus you also have connection fee's, With Foxtel iQ or MyStar equipment cost of $75 Aus. Install is free.

This is for ONE TV only. It was a extra $20 per TV a few years back. It's more then likely up to 25 or 30 now.

There's no such thing as a cheap deal with these people. $74+ is far from cheap. I'm sure there's a lot of people saying $74 a month isn't much but consider all the other things you pay a monthly payment for! Homes, cars, Internet, Insurances. eg, eg. Then you need to live. Food, Power, Water, Gas......

$74 a month for 7 or 8 rounds of the V8's? Really??
