V1.029 Servers in Multiplayer?

Anyone else notice a few servers in the lobby running v1.029, possible update coming soon or something else?

 

I havent been online much but i notice there's also "GT World Endurance Championship" listed

 

Notice how both servers that are running it are v1.029, so new update with a new car(s?) imminent, getting carried away now lol.

 

Possibly just a test group using it, so perhaps not as imminent as we would like

 

There is both an update and content coming soon, and yes those servers and names, etc are real.

Moved all HDR processing to GPU.


Should this improve FPS rates?

 

The remote download won't be available for a few days, but you can get the update file and drop it into your updates dir and then hit the update button.

It first looks in that folder, then up on the server.

 

Many of the developers are seeing increases in FPS. This should translate to most people here, I am interested to find out.

 

Assuming there are new mod packages, like the GT one mentioned, will these be seperate packages to the update, or included in it?
