Workshop content (rfcmps) needs to stay in the default location ...steamapps\common\workshop\content. If you remove the rfcmp from there while subbed, Steam will download it again immediately.

A stock installation takes about 25 GB of space. It's still smaller than most of today's AAA titles that regularly occupy up to 50 GB. But I do agree that eventually it would be nice to have a solution without duplicating everything, as the rfcmps are sitting on your disk doing nothing.

The difference is that you don't need all the content at all the time to run the game, you can delete cars and tracks you "don't need now" and then reinstall them when you want.
Beside this, yesterday the open server was very nice and populated. There was fun and fight in every part of the field, the car allow some close fights, as it is open to several lines around turns.

Don't forget that if you're running NTFS on your drives (pretty rare not to these days), you can use the mklink command to link any folder you want to another drive. You do need to be a little careful about doing this, and it's easier to set up after the folder is already there (so you still need that space initially, when installing rF2 for example), but you can offload heavy (and not often used) folders to a slower, larger drive and free up room on your SSD or whatever.

So there's a little learning first, and potentially need to redo some stuff in the event of a reformat etc, but once setup your packages are already on your slower drive - no need to manually move when done, move back when you want them, etc.

Well I've managed to put together a few laps with the USF2000 mod, and I'm really enjoying it. The cars seem very nimble and light, and interesting to race wheel to wheel. The car defiantly requires attention when driving, and everything from mid corner acceleration to downshifts can't be bullied.
Hopefully this evening I can put in a few more laps with this enjoyable content, thank you.

    Just WOW!!
I don´t know exactly why, but this is by far the best open-wheeler ISI/S397 ever made!
Such a joy to drive! And you are forced to drive smooth and clean, although one can catch slides easely.
    Really, really genius!!
Congrats to this epic piece of content!
Hope I see you peeps on the open server that evening!

I've always enjoyed the Skippy in rF2 as I prefer the slower open wheelers but this car is at a different level of awesome. Joined in on the SIMCO servers earlier for a race around Mid Ohio & had also raced them against AI around Oulton Park before that. Really is an enjoyable car to race, allows for some good-clean-fun racing. Thank you & well done ISI & Studio-397.

    Awesome little car. :)

I've noticed engine temps stay very low.
Fully close the radiator brings the engine slowly to (what i think) normal engine tempertures.

    Is it by design?
