I had the Formula SimRacing Indy track installed, which caused the problem with one missing layout for me. I still think it's most likely another track conflicting.

Would like to confirm Tosch's findings with the AI. At least for the 2007 layout (still not tried the others yet) Any more than 17 AI + Player car, will cause cars to spawn outside the track entirely (i.e. not even in the 3D environment). It always loads just fine, but if I select one of the last AI in the standings, then I can see they are not even in the environment.

What did it show-up in the menu under? Do you have a file name reference? Sorry to ask such seemingly ridiculous questions, but you know how this works.

I found this and reported it weeks ago. Okay, just a week ago, but still... I guess they didn't check the bug reporting forums. Hopefully they'll put some time into fixing it now. :)

Was doing some laps around the 500 oval tonight, one of the lap times was 40.272 which according to every chart I have seen for the speedway in real life 40.2 equals about 223.881, Rfactor 2 put it at 225.4.

    https://anotherindycarblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/chart-4.jpg

The real world charts say 40.0 = 225.0 so is that a bug or is that just due to the way this game measures the distance of the track?

223.881 is assuming exactly 2.5 miles for the track, I'm guessing rFactor uses one of the lines of the track (center, or maybe fastest) which is a little longer, hence the higher figure. Your figures would suggest a length of 2.521 miles.

As I recall, NASCAR measures track length differently than IRL, one using center and the other using outer (or one using inside and other using center).

I was exiting final turn (GP 2014), passed a car down the right and went close to right of track as shown http://www.legends-league.com/downloads/GRAB_001.JPG stayed totally within track limits and gets a pit lane speeding penalty. I had 2 actually, but there was no reason for that probably you get another penalty each subsequent lap (I had may laps to serve it)

I fell through sink hole 5 minutes after downloading Mt Peak. I found 2 in fact. I have no interest in complaining all the time, but I reckon RF2 is badly underrated/under achieving and probably some of the reasons behind that are quite simple.

Well it's not as simple as that, all tracks are tested for months internally before release. If they were tested much longer than that, ISI would be averaging 1 track per year released.

    Mate, enough!

There is no problem reporting problems, in fact it is encouraged.
But do so as an adult, not with the unveiled disdain you provide with each post.

I'm not sure you really understand the complexity of the tasks and the size of the ISI team. This is no excuse, but you cannot expect a company of that size to be run like Microsoft... which is still plagued with bugs and issues how many years later?

If you want the product to be better, report the bugs in the http://isiforums.net/f/forumdisplay.php/143-Bug-Reports
Join the test team to help identify these issues before release.

For the love of all that is good, just stop being so petulant about it.
