A quick reminder that we do usually release a build for public testing before making one fully public. We call this our "unstable" builds. They have odd numbers, while stable/public builds have even numbers. They are NOT compatible with stable/public builds.

Although we place no real restriction on testing, we do not want it heavily publicized, or posted on external media. The reason for this, and the reason that we place other minor obstacles between you and an unstable test, is because you are responsible for how it affects your original rF2 installation. If you break it, you fix it. You should not try testing unless you specifically know what you're doing in Windows and/or how to do a dual installation of rF2.

Unstable testers ARE allowed to talk about upcoming features and show screenshots etc from it in other locations, but we ask that they do not confuse people into thinking what they are showing is a current build.

If you are interested, please go to our Dev Corner and see the unstable testing link near the bottom. You simply follow instructions, and you'll eventually see a link to download the unstable build, along with a link to and password for a passworded forum to report issues, here on this very forum.

    Thanks,

    Tim
