Is "competition" tab in the main interface of this website new thing ? Or did I just manage not to see it for so long ?
I dont like this screenshot. Because of Norma instead new openwheelers Poor Marcel. Just look at those questions. Feels like: can we get new game instead of rf2?
Lol, open wheeler at Le Mans ? Also it is same as if I'd say that I don't like it because it is not 917K or so in it, and the track is not from 1971-1991. Poor simracers, not Marcel. I am not sure what is going on with simracing communities, but seems like intelligence is leaking away rapidly. But you also have to understand that there were no significant core improvements for about a year now. On the other hand everybody is going hyped about AC being hacked out and getting advanced shaders and so on... despite everything being present in rF2 by default and being simply better. Simracing has become, what it has become. Without intelligence simracing will not be the same.
Regrettable post mate, people are not asking for new rF2, they're asking Marcel to continue improving the simulation, content and features, people CARE about rFactor2, it's no coincidence, it's just the best simulation on the market. Also, new open wheelers in Le Mans make no sense, come on...
@Rui Santos I hope people care too. I think it will take another 2 years to improve all things ppl want right now. I am glad s397 started with content btw. With all respect to mods, i think rf2 need more licensed tracks and cars. And in case of those screenshot, if Paul teasering new content, why only new track?
Most probably you'll have to buy another pack... won't go into this discussion here, for respect with S397 guys, but this content purchase system is a mess...
Kool I have one issue, the quality is so bad, I can't judge the rimblur xD Looking forward to youtube upload.
rF2 is getting expensive for newbies wanting to race WEC style grids. I personally don't mind paying for content but I already know of people that own rF2 but aren't using it because of DLC expense. Mind you don't price yourselves out of the running S397
I don't mind paying for good (and official) content. But let's say it this way: The new content/fixing and problem solve - ratio is a little bit off atm I think. Of course everything will change after the UI/Comp system but well... That's a story itself.
In my mind paid content is a good way to go. The bad thing I see is that you have to own every car from the server to join it, thats non optimal. There is no subscribtion model, and even without it content is still cheaper than in iRacing. And rF2 simulates more stuff.
