Some mod tracks with asterisk in its name have "Uninstall" option disabled in mod manager. What's the catch? I assume it is a single component of a bigger package and cannot be uninstalled individually? If that is the case how can I see which other components it is related to and how to uninstall whole mod?

Yes it is single component of a bigger package and you must uninstall vmod which component is part of.

Try putting your mouse over it and see if it says what it's used by. I think that doesn't always work though, for whatever reason.

Go to rFactor 2 Bin32 folder open mod Modmgr. With Mod Manager ver. 0.93 you can determine which components are in every vmod you have installed.

Mouse hover method worked for me.
I didn't want to hassle with Mod Manager when I saw it doesn't show any components on startup.
    Thanks for your help guys.

You can directly delete the folders under installed folder. In mod manager all vmods using those components will appear as damaged on red. You can select them all using ctrl key and uninstall them with one click.
