I recently build a new PC and now I'm unable to detect my heusinkveld pedals. They are detected in windows and other games like assetto corsa. My osw and button box are detected fine. Any ideas?
For me the first install never detects my gear. Exit and restart rF2 and its all good. You prolly got that since you havent come back.
The pedals should work fine, especially if they are present in the Windows controller scheme. Alex72 may be on right on point, ISI-based titles tend to require a second launch in order to setup controllers.
I'm going crazy with this pedal! following a crash, I reset my pc, but the pedal only detects the brake on rf2, that drives me crazy, on AMS2 and AC everything works fine, a solution? heusinkveld pedals Pro.
I don't have a-lot of extras, but my blind advice would be to unplug everything but the wheel first. Verify it works in windows. Then plug in your pedals, again verify in windows,. one by one connect each major piece(wheel, pedals, maybe shifter), always testing in the windows control panels before progressing to the next. Then in rF2, calibrate them first. Don't try and detect your wheel/pedals. Make sure they are responding to your inputs. You will most likely have to assign the throttle and pedals, shifter before you can do this. Only when everything is working then plug in your other devices like the button box. while in windows. restart rF2 and verify all those are accepted.
Good point, detect is really only for detecting the wheel base, after if you have a custom pedal set you will need to manually assign all the inputs. Same goes for any other peripherals.
I did not succeed, the clutch and the brake succeeded in working in the set but not the accelerator, whereas they are detected by the DView and that the hardware Heusinkveld Window .....
you must set up pedals in Diview b4 they will be recognized in game this also happens in other sims, until you do this except iracing. owned HE for yrs.
l the pedals are well recognized by the Dwiew, today, I disconnected and reconnected there is only the clutch which is recognized, yesterday it was the brake and the clutch by rf2: (.... .. ..... Diview b4, ..... b4
I only have one version of Dwiew available. they are calibrated in the dwiew, how do I know if the calibration is good?
