Hi everyone! Can somebody tell me how can i open this type of files, or what is the extension? This file type is the ghost car for every track, and i really want to look inside it. Thanks for help.
Can you post a Screenshot, that shows the File (or the MAS File that contains it) in it's Folder Structure?
These are the laps saved to use by the transparent trainer. I think that you have to activate it in the Display options
ex. path: e:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\Spafrancorchampsendurance\GTE.ttl Player.json "Transparent Trainer Alpha":0.5, "Transparent Trainer Alpha#":"how transparent it is", "Transparent Trainer Lap":2, "Transparent Trainer Lap#":"0=off, 1=use saved lap (never updated), 2=use best lap (starts with saved lap but updates if faster), 3=always use last lap", "Transparent Trainer Lead Time":0.5, "Transparent Trainer Lead Time#":"how far ahead it starts the lap in seconds", "Transparent Trainer Proximity":20, "Transparent Trainer Proximity#":"fades out within this distance",
And activating it in the display options works automatically? I've never used it, because i only use rF2 in online
Thank you guys, i really appreciate it! My next question is: Can i create this type of file without rF2? I mean, can i use GPS data from real life, transform it somehow, and take into the program with a plugin(s)? What do you think about it? Another question: I tried to open it, but the .ttl extension is really mysterious. Somebody has an idea how should i try open it?
Anything is possible, and any file is viewable with a hex editor. But before you head down that path (and that could be a long path!), you should consider the end goal and its feasibility: how much GPS data would you actually have access to? Do the corresponding tracks have sufficient accuracy to match the GPS data, with some position and orientation correction? Will track conditions (tarmac condition, verges, alterations) be identical, or close enough not to invalidate the GPS data? I think you'd be doing a LOT of work for little gain.
