sorry for the noob questions, but i am having trouble as well. i dont see rfactor2 listed in my documents & i dont see any tracks folder anywhere.
Thanks I found them and for anyone else wondering they are here: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7520-Post-your-RF2-car-skins-here/page64 and here: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7520-Post-your-RF2-car-skins-here/page65
You need to find where you installed RF2 if you did a custom install like I did it may not have "My Documents" in the path e.g. I installed RF2 to my D drive under a folder named Sims so my path is d:\sims\rfactor2\ and so the hdr file from this thread was copied to my d:\sims\rfactor2\UserData\ and d:\sims\rfactor2\UserData\player\Settings\Track If you don't know where your RF2 is installed right click your Rfactor2 icon and select properties and it will show you.
Thanks I've found them and loaded them up, really nice addition to the mod. I tried posting the direct links here but I think it got rejected or is awaiting moderation etc. So just in case others are wanting to know where they are > go up one level from this thread and subforum and look for a title sticky named "Post your RF2 Skins Here" and look at page 65-67 and you will see them.
New rF2 owner here and one not familiar with modding or computers. I am not seeing any difference in the game when I used it on the Silverstone GP layout with and without these files. I am probably doing something wrong? is this the correct locationsof the two files in the download? View attachment 13073 View attachment 13072
I don't have this "Track" folder? Could that be the problem? see my second image above, there are about 18 files each with a track name. My files only go as far as "rfactor2\UserData\player\Settings"
I've just put the file "TrueLightsUltraHDR.hdp" in the RF2 folder, then you can select it from the HDR profile in settings. SS
View attachment 13129 OK, thanks guys! the truelightsultrahdr is installed in my rFactor2 folder (see image). I wonder how the heck that guy above who put the file in the wrong folder, his \userdata folder, even got it to work?
Screens look awesome! This HDR profile maybe what I've been looking for defiantly going to use/try this out
