And yes they run with 0 caster. All physics data came from a real truck race driver so he knows what they can change and what can't.
Hi Tommy78, thanks for the tip, have a better feeling with a lower multi, although I'm still not comfortable with it I think I have it under control and I even managed to ride a low 0.59.3xx (fastest racing lap) on lime rock (no chicane) in a 6 lap race. Strong ride on lime rock for big boys this monster. Very good work, good visuals, cockpit view is wonderful. Nevertheless, I would like to ask you if these vehicles have no engine brake ? I also do not feel any braking forces on the steering wheel, and how to shift this monster ? Can you please explain that to me. Thanks in advance.
I know it's not the rF1 topic, but i don't want to open a new topic on that section, so today i released the Truck mod for rFactor1, so if someone want to try on the old platform, have fun. Atteched two screenshots, one from the showroom, and one in-game, and of course both in rFactor1 Download link: MAN Race Truck for rFactor1 View attachment 13563 View attachment 13564
Guys I have a server up using this mod at croft. Feel free to join it "Pitlanes Trucks". Race next friday evening (BST, 25th July)
For connoisseurs : is this mod faithful to reality in terms of physics and ffb? Also with a t500rs what value of ffb multi in the game sugged you (in the steering control panel = total forces to 60%). Thank you !
I'm trying to develop a truck to use in an academic research, but I do not have that much time or information to create everything from scratch. can anybody help me? I need help in spreadsheet and skins ..
