Hi Tommy78, Great! Tomorrow I'll grind the asphalt away... Yeah! Thank you very much. Greeting and Grip Edit: 10 minutes later... I am big fan of this mod... Unfortunately, no download...
Thank you very much for this, great fun! I had to tune down the ffb to about 0.2 to avoid clipping, maybe this is related to the excessive tire deformation? Apart from this, these beasts are a fantastic drive - lucky to have a TH8RS with 8 gear slots...
Yes, the ffb about under 0.5 is good, because of the big tire size and big pressure, that's why the deformation is quiet big.

Hallo Tommy78, thank you for this and hat off to people like you invest so much time and effort, good work, but I have a strange driving feeling where the steering wheel collapses in the rotational/driving direction by the FFB, as if the slip angle would only be a longitudinal line in a particular wide and not an patch area. Once I exceed an angle the steering wheel collapses, and the controlling becomes difficult.
I think that is the intended behaviour. The steering feels a bit like the Formula Two because of the low caster. (Actually zero caster according to the page in the garage). The steering wheel tends to flop in the direction of the turn after a certain point. Use a low ffb multiplier so it is more manageable. From earlier in this thread:
Ok thanks I'll test it. I don't know anything about trucks and because this effect was so strong I thought maybe something works not properly here, but is that really something which the drivers in this pronounced form has to do with in reality ?
I don't know anything about trucks either, but if they really do set them up with zero caster then the steering will lack self-centering force.
So tell me where do you see chassis flex? And btw chassis flex ist sth. negative in relation to driving dynamics. Usually you want your racing car to be as stiff as possible.
Sure but what you want and what is possible are two different things and this sometimes results-not as desirable, apart from that, I doubt that these monsters are out to G rather a mix of maneuverability and stiffness. Anyway, funny monster.
