I wanted to let the AI run a few laps for comparison a few evenings ago after the new update was released and installed. I've found that since updating to 590 from Unstable 573, I cannot run RF2. The user interface starts up when I double-click the icon and I can go into the Configure sim and Manage mods utilities and adjust them fine. The issue arises when I select single player or multiplayer. The splash screen will come up and then simply disappear. That's it. The install and verification seemed to go alright. No failures were reported. The only changes to my system are the removal of my G25 (sold) and the removal of my original monitor (sold). I am using a lower resolution monitor and no wheel.
Got it sorted. I completely removed RF2. Installed lite 590 and re-installed all mods...works fine now. 87-102 fps from the cockpit view at the back of a 22 car field at Silverstone. Not bad.
Hi Tim...yes. It appeared to go well (no error messages and verification showed that all files passed).
