I am running dual HD6970's in CF here and last night I installed the 12.1c AMD/ATi Beta driver which now has the option of creating your own CF profiles for games that do not have one. I set one up using AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) and the game now utilises both GPUs giving me a very solid frame rate. It is not a high frame rate at around 35-55 avg but it is SOLID and turning off the Replays has gotten rid of my annoying stutters in all car and track combos. It will obviously be ALOT better when AMD releases an official CF profile for rF2 but I suspect that might be some time away yet, people are still awaiting a CF profile for iRacing after 3.5 years CPU Usage is @ 10-20% and GPU Usage is @ around 60% My Gaming Rig Specs Whole rig is high end water cooled with Koolance parts - Asus Rampage 3 Formula (WC), i7 950 @ 4.0GHz (WC), 6GB DDR3 @ 1915MHz (WC), 2 x HD6970 @1040/1450MHz (WC), OCZ Revo PCI-E SSD 120GB (Windows), OCZ Vertex2 SSD (Steam), Kingston 64GB SSD (rFactor 2), 3 x 26" LCD @ 1920x1200 (5986x1200 Eyefinity res) Game settings are all on full and maxed out except for Shadows (High) and no HDR. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the graphics in this sim. From what I can tell if I do not turn HDR on it looks like it's a game from 2001. The graphics are absolutely TERRIBLE. I can get about 70fps average. Turn HDR on, it looks like a new sim but the frame rates are in the toilet. i7 950 4GHz HD 5850 eyefinity at 5760x1080
Try going down to 4???x900ish resolution. That is what I did and now I am able to run everything on maximum other than track and evironment reflections at 60+ fps 90% of the time. It doesn't look that bad really and is a good temporary fix until they optimize some stuff.

I can run a single screen using SLI and get 20 - 30 fps and when i go back to 3 screens i get the same fps so i think it's a SLI thing that needs attention. Turn off SLI and and the fps are fine. Click on my specs to see them.
Is it confirmed that CCC support different res monitors eyefinity now? Anyone tried it? i5 760 @ 3.8 5870 @ 900 8 ram 3840 x 1024 win 7 64 I too get lousy fps even on medium settings, I woudnt mind the grapic style if it was smooth, low fps is the biggest immersion killer imo. AA´s bad no matter what setting.
I run 3x 24" on an ATI6990 i7-2600K @ 4,4GHz 8Gb RAM Most on high, no HDR. AA is non-existent, jaggies and some choppyness. Worst part is the pauses, sometimes up to a second, where everything just stops, except physics are still running. This happens at varying intervals, sometimes every 5 seconds, sometimes once a minute. Makes the game unplayable.
Im back after spending many hours trying to get the best out of my pc, was getting 40-50 FPS on mostly medium settings. now after installing win. 7 64 bit (making use of the other 3gb of ram) and a little bit of over clocking gpu and a lot of playing around with settings. I can put the detail and texture settings up to full but with no wind/crowd movement, no road or environment reflections and number of audio effects to 8. now getting around 45-57 fps, although had to avoid HDR (20fp lose) and multiview cost about 15fps, but didn't same to have much effect on hardware usage and didn't see any different in game? Im now pleased with my set up but eventually have to upgrade graphics card (this one is only 3 months old) to make use of all that rf2 has to offer and might get a sound card depending on weather that would fix having put the number of audio effect to 8?
3x28"/i5@4ghz/6950-2gb/16gb - rF2 runs well with everything on max (4x AA). I learned last night that if you want Multiview, you need to uncheck HDR.
I just did the install upgrade from 11.12 to 12.1, no uninstallation of the previous driver, it just updates everything instead. I have not done a full uninstall/re-install of the ati drivers since 11.9 and have not had any issues to speak of at all
