This gives "unstable" a whole new dimension. If I toggle between the trackside cameras with the End key and switch them to free look with the U key, they start to move by themselves. Very very slowly at first, but with an accelerating rate. This creates a very weird alias flickering effect in fences, track decals etc. At first I thought I had gone crazy, but if I press the U key again to lock the camera, the flickering stops instantly. Not sure if this is in build 590 because I haven't really played the game that much, but I figured I'd mention it anyway.
I thought that pressing "end" switch to the next cam and it would already be freelook. Is U the default key as I will try it out.
Was this on a certain track with a certain car? As i can't seem to recreate it with the karts at Quebec.
Just tried on Quebec and it doesn't happen there. The first test was on a converted rF1 track. I'll compare the cam files, I guess it's something in there that might trigger it.
Here are copies of the first trackside camera definition from the converted track and the first one from Quebec. Besides shadow parameters, I really cannot see anything that should trigger it. Maybe a developer can take a quick look? This happened to me too. Except it fixed itself. Then it un-fixed itself. Then it fixed it again. It seems very random. Is your cockpit view messed up too?
No, the cockpit view is fine. It's just the trackside cameras. I tested with Formula ISI 2012 by the way. I'll do some more tests to see if it is random for me too.
I had this issue a while ago too. At the time I put it down to a head motion plugin I had installed, which I now no longer use. I never tried reinstalling it again to see if this was actually the cause though. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
