[REL] TrackMapPlugin V0.95 32bit & 64bit

Please try to follow this advice into the readme:
E) in case of CTD at the end of the TrackMap plugin loading time ingame, load again rF2, go race, open TrackMap menu (ALT+SPACE) and change "Enable Controllers" from YES to NO

We noticed that in few cases, assigning actions for TrackMap to the controller's buttons, generates CTD. Please let's know if setting "NO" fixes the problem. Thank you

I did it, no more CTD for now, bu tI dont have any trackmap action to any button.
I wil continue testing.

starting from TracmMap already installed

1) Download SweetFX (at the moment maybe only 32 bit is released but I'm not sure. )
2) Rename Bin32\d3d9.dll in d3d9_tm.dll (otherwise it will be overwritten)
3) Unzip SweetFX inside rFactor2\Bin32 root folder
4) rename d3d9.dll in d3d9_sfx.dll
5) rename d3d9_tm.dll in d3d9.dll
6) MAke a backup of rFactor2\Plugins\TrackMap\TrackMapPlugin.ini
7) Edit rFactor2\Plugins\TrackMap\TrackMapPlugin.ini as follow
OriginalD3D9Dll=d3d9_sfx.dll

8) Lunch rFactor2.
9) If it doesn't work Edit rFactor2\Plugins\TrackMap\TrackMapPlugin.ini as follow
OriginalD3D9Dll=DEFAULT

thanks

Getting an appcrash item in event viewer with both 32 and 64 bit after installing the 0.95 update. It references d3d9.dll as the source of the issue, no additional info though.

Doesn't matter if I'm just driving, or editing the HUD, as it happened in both situations.

Reverted to 0.94, no issues for a day, and indeed the last 4 or 5 months.

Will wait for some more updates.

Any idea about the above, @fazerbox?

Just to add, it happens in both 32 and 64 bit.

I use a triple Set and multiview and some of the items like the map and the standings table dissapear and then come back after a few seconds

And then are stable or blinking? Can you post a video?

Thanks.

On Track press 0 From Numpad. Map will cycle FIXED-ROTATION-OFF
Same in Garage. 0 From Numpaf will cycle FIXED-OFF

Max.

Hi Max Fazerbox,

I have tried your solutions but unfortunately they do not work, nothing occurs or happens. I may not be able to sleep tonight knowing this problem has not been fixed. My pedal overlay plugin (separate plugin) is also flickering from time to time. It is not annoying but it does tickle my titties from time to time.

As I said, the trackmap is distracting while driving but useful in the garage to know where everyone is on track. So I want to keep it in the garage but remove it from driving. Also sometimes it is distracting in the garage so would be good to toggle it off there.

Thanks yous friend :)

Dear friend :)

To hide all TrackMap boxes ( and not only map ), once on track press CTRL + SPACE ( or ALT + SPACE I don't remember ). This should hide all boxes.

NUMPAD Zero is used only for map.

Cheers,
Max.

Wouldn't want you to miss any sleep, lol. You can also make removing the info boxes automatic ... for example, if you only want the fuel usage box during a race. Go in the garage and hit alt-space, and turn off everything except the fuel usage box. Go back to the 1st green menu and select save layout to race, then enter. Now in the race, only the fuel usage will be active.

You can toggle any of the boxes on/off, then save that layout to garage, practice, qualify, or race ... then only the saved layout will appear when in that session, automatically.

Hope that's what you wanted ... good night, lol.

Thank you very much for both your help Max Fazerbox and Jerry McCheese, unfortunately I haven't slept for 3 days with this issue.

It seems we are both getting confused with the word 'trackmap'. I don't mean the whole plugin of trackmap, I only want to remove the 'map of the track' from the screen while driving but keep the brake data, laptime data, etc.

Like real racing drivers I know the track layout off the top of my penis and therefore don't need it while I'm driving. However it's useful in the garage as I can see where everyone is on track. However sometimes I want to remove it from the garage for distractions as well.

I am pressing Numpad 0 but nothing occurs. Do I need to do something before I press Num 0?

Thank you very much guys the world is a wonderful place when human beings help each other virtually or not <3 :o:o:o
