It crashes in 32bit, the 64bit is stable but I have some hardware plugins that only work in 32bit so that is the version I would prefer to use. thanks for responding. -elbo
I have the same issues, but on both 32bit and 64bit. NFO says: E) in case of CTD at the end of the TrackMap plugin loading time ingame, load again rF2, go race, open TrackMap menu (ALT+SPACE) and change "Enable Controllers" from YES to NO Tried that but still no luck. Note: It's only possible to check the menu in SP not in MP. In MP it crashes almost immediately after loading the trackmap. Can someone help me out?
Why cant save the configuration now? Still work in 32 bit but now every time i load a track the configuration is deffault, anny suggestion?
No idea what you guys are doing...i`m on x64, no crashes and the configuration is saved. Maybe it helps, the only plugins i`m using are dashmeterpro and trackmap.
I tried that also and still have the same issue. 64bit works fine. I reinstalled 0.94 and everything is good in 32 bits with this version.
Unfortunately I am not much of a coder so I can't help with the debugging beyond what I have already said. In case you want to pursue further here is what I did. Clean install of rfactor 2 to a folder outside of windows UAC. E:\rfactor2 (windows is on drive C) Installed 0.95 32 bit crashes on entering car or after a small delay. 64bit runs fine (including with the warp software for my projector). Deleted the files installed by 0.95 and reinstalled 0.94...everything works fine (including with the warp software I use for my projector.) Thanks again for the wonderful plugin. Couldn't think of playing RF2 without it. -elbo
I deleted TrackMap as i don't want to use it anymore... But nowthe game crashes on startup.... Am i missing something?? I deleted from both 64 and 32 folders and from the main forlder too.... Am i missing something?
1) Delete <rFactor2>\Bin32\d3d9.dll 2) Delete <rFactor2>\Bin32\Plugins\TrackMApPlugin32.dll 3) Delete <rFactor2>\Bin64\d3d9.dll 4) Delete <rFactor2>\Bin32\Plugins\TrackMApPlugin64.dll 5) Delete <rFactor2>\Plugind\TrackMap folder
See my post#60, previous page. Not sure what changed that this is now necessary, but that's the solution.
It's built into the default game HUD. Just cycle through the game's HUD elements and you'll find it. It's 2 items after the tire wear/temp item.
Getting an appcrash item in event viewer with both 32 and 64 bit after installing the 0.95 update. It references d3d9.dll as the source of the issue, no additional info though. Doesn't matter if I'm just driving, or editing the HUD, as it happened in both situations. Reverted to 0.94, no issues for a day, and indeed the last 4 or 5 months. Will wait for some more updates.
ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE CRASH Please try this patch and let me know. TrackMapPlugin0-95.1 Patch Installation. Unzip file in rFactor2 folder
To develop plugin I've installed: Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Express Microsoft SDK for Windows 7 (7.1) Microsoft DirectX SDK (June 2010)
Of course. Without that, the game doesn't even start. The crash to desktop happens while already playing the game, and the plugin showing and everything.
