Sorry, didn't get a chance to test it with the hardware earlier, but have now got it working. Need a temporary workaround until a new build comes out? If you're only using TrackIR on rF2, and you can remember to change this back later, try this: Go into the "Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5" directory. Save off a copy of NPClient.dll. Then rename NPClient64.dll to NPClient.dll. I think that should do it.
I'll try it too. (excitedly he says) Thanks! Edit** Well, I'm not as smart as I thought I was. Couldn't get it to work. Even took out other plugins out of the 64 plug ins folder in case they were fouling me up. Anyway if it's getting fixed, I can wait. But, thanks for the input, it was appreciated.
Thanks heaps Terrence ! I can confirm that it works flawlessly with FaceTrackNOir(PointTracker1.1 plugin built-in) and the DelanClip ... cheers mate ps. @ Jim if you have not ever tried you could download FaceTrackNOir and try it ... it has a plugin PointTracker, that works with IR detection. v1.70 Full Installer http://sourceforge.net/projects/facetracknoir/files/SetupFaceTrackNoIR_Full_v170.exe/download The DelanClip uses exact same process of mapping IR points as TrackIR (you probably already knew that but some peeps don't).
I think I have seen posts from 32 bitters that it still works for them, it should just be the 64 that has gone off. Just to say what I did that didn't work; I actually renamed NPClient.dll to "32NPClient.dll" , Then renamed NPClient64.dll to NPClient.dll
Sorry to hear you guys could not get it working ... I did exactly same as jimcarrel and it now works without issue.
If I "rename NPClient.dll to "32NPClient.dll" , Then rename NPClient64.dll to NPClient.dll " doesn't work in 32bits or 64bits too. With the original name works only in 32 bits mode. I will be interesting if people put his O.S. In my case W7 Home Premium 64 bits
@100mph This is too funny! If I gave you the idea and it works for you, how come it doesn't work for me? Glad it works, it should, but on my machine it doesn't. The tir5 driver does work with tir4, which is what I'm doing, maybe you have the tir5 unit using tir5 driver and that is why it is working for you and not my tir4 w/tir5 driver.
For those using FaceTrackNoiR, renaming NPClient64.dll to NPClient.dll and FreeTrackClient64.dll to FreeTrackClient.dll works perfectly too. Thanks Terence
For me it's solved. I put a copy of the TrackIRx64 dll from unstable build 841 to the plugin folder of 798.
unstable build is available here : http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/devscorner/unstable-build-testing/ Read and acknowledge the rules then you can download the build. ISI do not want that we share files from the build but you can download it yourself.
Thanks, I know where is unstable build, but now I'm at the middle of a champ and I'm affraid to install a new build I'll try to install in other system Enviado desde mi GT-I8260 usando Tapatalk 2
