TrackDayR Is currently on sale (summer sale 2022) on Steam at 30% off. Game Is In EA but very promising IMO. It recently received a mayor update for the better, and some new tracks and bikes. Personally I am comparing this to GP Bikes, It´s a bit more accesible then GP Bikes and has some features that GP Bikes Is missing for now. I find the controller (Xbox gamepad) works just great out of the box. - It has In-game content In the form of bikes and tracks. - It supports mods. - Has GP and MX modes. - When you fall, you have to walk/run to the bike, pick It up and start It again. - Has AI although very basic. - Time trials. - Multiplayer. - Online leaderboards.
I think this Is a step below GP Bikes when It comes to riding, and I really think that´s the way the devs wants It to be. Not really a rival In my opinion but more of a accesible (easy) alternative. It´s good to have competition and some what alternatives In any game genre. If they work more on the AI, that alone will step up over GP Bikes which Is really lacking In that department (none existent).
