Track position plugin

Hi everyone.
I've been looking for, and i cant find a plugin that indicates the car position, measured in meters from the start line.
This whould be very useful for the league admins to put the DRS zones.
If someone know of a plugin with this information whould be great to know.

I know, but then i've to unpack the circuit and create the files and folder structure to make devmode work.
I'm an admin league, not a modder.
Sometimes it's hard to find the correct position of the files, or some files are not packaged because are common.

If you are comfortable with running a Java program at the command prompt, I could probably write a small tool along with my old live timing plugin I just updated to work with rF2. Let me know if you are interested.

Yes, of course. I can execute the rFactor2 in window mode to do this.
In fact, in the past (rFactor1), we did it with the rF_HighVoltage in the same way.
It would be a very good solution.

Ok, I just built a much simpler plug-in that displays the current lap distance in the in-game message center. No need for any external programs anymore. If anyone wants it, you can find it here:

There's a small readme file included that pretty much tells the full story.
