A couple more cars have been updated on the xfactorracing site as of the 14/1/2015, we also have a public server up with these cars @ Nordschleife 24H Vmod is in our forums SS
I drive some laps on the nordschleife with 635csi. realy nice combination. the cars have nice physiks and a good ffb, it is much fun drive with them. i think this mod will be one of my favorite.
thx Walton .... all cars have been repacked and links updated there shouldn't be any issues with modmanager now
Will try the updates soon...thanks. EDIT: so is the whole list after "NEWEST V0.035 5/01/15" or only those three that have: << as of 7/1/15 << as of 12/01/15 << as of 14/1/15 ?
yes all the links are new ones now they all went up on the 5th, apart from the final 3 , there dates are shown
Latest versions are quite an improvement! I really like the distinct sounds for each model. They feel very natural, if a bit too easy, to drive. Reflections and some textures are still very problematic (at least in HDR...sorry I'm not turning it off and on mod by mod, it stays on). Overall, for a v.035, terrific!
Lol thx mark, the 635 really only got some improvements texture wise there is just 1 thing holding me back when importing the model to max i just cant get it to look smooth enough , other mods i have done in max without this issue and they look much nicer reflection wise in all settings I will get there though, wheels and tyres are an easy fix but there is literally hundreds of them to edit so it will take some time but there material settings will and can be fixed on the rim and the deform tyre tread and wall they where mainly just repackaged to work on line and install correctly due to the updated component issue, they all got a suspension edit but nothing drastic, Nils sent me an update for the 635 and i tried to replicate what he had done on all the others whether my adjustments helped i dont know, but the 635 felt nicer to drive. Obbzy is currently working on the chassis Flex on the DunnyDoors which also have a sound update Obbzy has also been working on new tyres which are currently on the m3 as a test lol dont know if he knew this hahaha steering still feels to light on a couple of cars but I may be on to that too dont turn of hdr just tell me when i fix it lol
Well, it is a major improvement since the last version I used (the very first, I think that was totally unusable due to weird time shifting issues!). There is an awesome amount of content in here, so it is understandable that it will take time. May I suggest that you work on one car and try to perfect it, getting feedback from people here at each step? Then once you have found the answers and techniques, you can apply them to the other vehicles. If you don't do this, it could be massive amounts of one step forward, two steps back as you have to undo some things that didn't work, or were half good, but then you found the better way to do it.
+1 ; also has grip been reduced since first release? As I recall at least some of the cars drove well except for the obscene grip.
New tgm model on the m3 only for now ,not that it needed slowing down lol, and totally agree with the grip we are looking at that
I want to add my thanks. Marcs praise prompted me to take a look and I've been stuck on them for 2 days now. Sachsenring, gingerman and putnum have all been awesome fun. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
