TOURING CAR REVIVAL (Converted by xFactor)

The skins look good,
I can see you have, as you told me, made the windscreen glass a DDS file.
Also the front and rear lights are now DDS.
Can i ask have you also been changing the skins to an Albedo map?
I ask because i have been working through some making the DX11 changes to the skins.
No I didn't do the skins albedo so if you want to I'll make use of them

@Nibiru Brillant mod. Loving the old touring cars. Not sure if it's been mention but I couldn't get the mirrors to adjust individually. Granted I only tried this in the Rover but can test further if needed. Been using the DK2 with this mod. Really caught me off guard to turn around and notice the entire back of my vehicle was missing . Definitely not off putting though, just wasn't expecting it. Fantastic racing in these cars. Many thanks for all your efforts. :D

Drove some of these last night. They are in more than usable condition and a bunch of fun. I do have a thing for vehicles that I am familiar with but sold under a different name (and usually a lot less fun to drive) than the ones sold here. For example, the Sierra is a completely different car under that body when sold here. It might not be thought of as a potential race car by anyone who has not seen it in action outside of here.

Oh yeah the Merkur XR4Ti

I was wrong, this is how I first saw it but never realized it was the same car until I was looking for images to post in this message.

This is how most of the ones look where I've lived.

Not sure if the ones here are 4x4, never been in one. Not sure if this picture is a model from where I am but it looks the same. All this fun around here it is easy to spin out in it and veer off topic.

Awesome that this mod is still getting attention, very cool, the vl used to be my fav car for spinning around Bathurst. Great work to all involved.

I was physically track-side in 1987 when these cars all raced.
The Sierra won (Steve Soper and Pierre Dieudonné) but in a local anachronism got DSQ'd for some technicality about the height of its guards (fenders). It kept its WTC points just the notion of the Bathurst win. Co-incidentally it gave the great Peter Brock (Commodore) his final win.
It was an action packed race. There was a hail storm at the top of the mountain which caused havoc.
It was a who's who of drivers including Denny Hulme, Roland Ratzenberger, Jonny Cecotto.

Is there a chance of the other TCL cars making it into the mod? (Mustang, Supra, Alfa, Corolla, Escort, Merc)
Not ATM the cars we have are the cars we were given permission to use. The other cars we were told NOT to use. We may add to them at a later stage but don't hold me to it.

Thanks Nib. I haven't had a chance tot try yet but I did have a problem downloading the VL. Saying the file not available.

EDIT: It seems to work this morning. Cheers
