Tire smoke & Dust

    We've seen a few videos now, but none of them appeared to have tire smoke. I also didn't notice dust when you drop a tire off the track or crash into the kitty litter.

    Is tire smoke and dust part of the beta, or are they on the to-do list?

    I think Tim have said somewhere that dust, smoke and/or some other particle effects might not be included in the first beta release.

    I wonder if we will have exhaust smoke, or was that a feature on rF1 already...?

    So that I can finish this mod :D

    Well that was I was thinking. lol. Not a whole lot as everything is wet. In that vid(which is quite old now) a bit came up and seemed to settle quite quickly.

    about all this tire smoke dust skies and stuff i hope it works like in rfactor 1 that we can do own files how it shall looks like without have missmatches

    Here in Colorado we can still have dust on the ground if it rains because it hardly ever rains hard enough to soak the ground.

    I am curious what is in the beta.

    Yes, as stated it was turned off. The reason was because it wasn't and isn't yet setup for the smoke, etc, to look good in slow-motion. You can actually see some fidelity lacking on the car motion at times, too.
