DW12 initial 3D model.
Nope--does not feel like molasses near centre like the Skippy. The new Brabham feels great. Hope a revised Skippy follows the pattern of the Brabham.
Being ignorant as I am to the Super GT 500s and the DTMs, will the Nissan be compatible with the URD DTMs, will they make good competition or will one be way too fast for the other without modification?
It should be faster... The Nissan in question here, the (old) GT 500 series was the fastest touring car series on earth. Faster than DTM. Today though, the regulations of Super GT is essentially DTM regulations. They made a kind of merge. I guess for going head to head at some point in some touring car class of continents maybe
Quick look up at 2014 P2 Qualifying times at Fuji - 1.32.9 vs 2013 Super GT race 1.32.5 for the fastest Nissan GTR SGT 500 car. So it is actually faster than a Le Mans prototype.
The old Super GT regs were less restrictive.
I had to google what the hell molasses was! Anyway the Skippy was updated end of Jan....it is "revised" already, maybe it's an issue with your wheel? settings perhaps? rhetorical question.
Nope, I use the same default settings for all cars and rF2, so differences are a result of the sim, not hardware. That being said, I think the different steering schemes used by ISI for different cars have quite different effects depending on which wheel you use. It must be a huge pain in the *&% trying to get something to feel authentic on a wide variety of hardware.
Waiting to see the comparison
@Tim Wheatley, hopefully Malaysia updates will include complete AIW overhaul as AI pitifully slow and also have defects for example you can pass two cars at a time in some turns, etc.
Waiting for the video!!!
No video. There will be pics instead. Sooner or later. We just wait and see.

"going to do screens instead, finer textures on yt all you'd be able to say is "it looks like a different shade of mush" "
Well I told y'all. And it was some time ago when he told me that so I'm curious what's going on with those pics. Seems like maybe some changes here and there are being made and that's why he didn't give us any teasers. I believe if Tim thinks there's still time for it then I'm fine with that. No rush, especially since just today I recieved my new 970 GTX. Hoping for new build to test it soon.
You won't be disappointed Ronnie. I've got mine last week and for me it's a great update (former gpu was gtx770 )
