Eeeh, blindly attacking? Sorry, I wrote something of which I thought it could be constructive. The thing with my English was meant seriously. I´m not angry in the slightest way either! Forum-writing-barrier here I think.
Well, peterchen's confusion is something we have to remember--lots of people on here do not have English as a first language, but would like to learn about rF2, use it and contribute in the fora (that's the plural of forum!). My suggestion was in part because when language is a barrier, sometimes you don't even know where you're supposed to find or comment on things. I have that issue when I go to some of the great fans sites that are in French or Italian or other languages. In other words, we have to follow the KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid), not because any of us is stupid, but because this (and rF2) isn't our work or lifeblood and we need the most simple and centralized access to the key information possible. Other stuff can be disorganized, but the current releases should not be. One day, when we have a user-friendly, automated installer for everything from ISI (like the iRacing one), it won't matter so much.
Tim Wheatley @timwheatley1979 · 52m Build 767 available for unstable testing access. Including the x64 exe. Start in rF2 Dev Corner on http://rfactor.net
Yes, back on topic!!! I hope 768 comes out for this weekend as I will finally have some decent seat time available for rF2.
was gonna say if it was released "out for this weekend" then that'd be tomorrow.....be pointless releasing an unstable in the first place
Keep going Tim I support you ! I bought rf2 when it was released and I was unhappy with it until I installed build 660 from zero. Then it starts to be what I was looking for. I hope improvements for sure in the future, but I started to race online with rf2 without problems and I like how it works.
I better like this new appearance by far. It was annoying to have to go the home page to find the links to the different versions main pages. Now you easily get to the different sections. It would be just great to have something in the webpage where the forum and the different threads could be better followed as with tapatalk. Participated threads are missed a lot. I only use tapatalk for that for that reason
Non emailed subscriptions would do that via the control panel. You essentially make your own forum of threads you read by doing that.
Doh! @timwheatley1979 RF2MM has been replaced by: https://world.rfactor.net/server-list Which will be a launcher tab eventually.
The new list won't show 660 or before, the old list won't show 770 or later. Same as the actual clients listings.
