While I wish it was the C7.R (Tim already said it isn't) I suspect it is a Corvette Daytona Prototype. Signed right around the time they won the 24h of Daytona. rF2 seems to want an example of every type of race car and I'm certainly not complaining. Would love to have it in the sim! *I do hope we get the track along with it.
Corvette Daytona Prototype would be cool. The one they need in order to embrace a huge population of simracers is a good example of an American stock car, i.e. something that might look a little like a NASCAR Sprint Cup Chevrolet SS. Also possible, a WTCC Chevrolet Cruze.
I bet its this one... http://jalopnik.com/corvette-museum-gives-1-000-000th-corvette-back-to-sink-1538184768
Erm, that a DP MIGHT be announced doesn't mean it will be here before a LMP. Besides, a LMP has been announced allready (Bentley, from 2003?)
I'm just interested in quality tracks ( many good quality cars in rf2 for me ) Indianapolis i think I'm most looking forward too now ( assuming it has the road config on release ... So a bit of oval then infield then out again etc) I'd prefer ISI not to release it until it's completely finished though (Track surface / all configs etc ) as oppose to putting it out slightly substandard in a rush
Vintage Camaro TransAm. Of the original grey models, I think it's the only Chevy that hasn't made an appearance.
The Chevy SS stock car is what I'm hoping for. iRacing already has it though, so they might have an exclusive deal with GM for it. If not the SS, then a 60s Stingray Corvette might go nicely with the Cobra they're already working on.
