I think ISI acquired the license for the Lemon car and the LeMons track, not 100% sure though.

Is there any plan for BMW licenses?
Seeing some new games like Assetto C., RaceRoom, pCars having it, it looks like it's achievable. It would be nice to have a good BMW set, M3 E30, Z4 GT, M3 GT..

    Going good lately.

I haven't approached RUF. I'd exhaust Porsche (which I haven't yet) first. Other licensing options have been doing well lately.

I've followed NFL since I was a kid. NFL makes sense, strategy of man against man blocking to make plays. Lots of strategy, and that's why supporting the Chicago Bears is such a pain, they torture their fans.

If he is talking about the FR35 component (modular) download, then yeah. What do you think he is asking?

It's not just "one more" open-wheeler! Read the description : "We are also building the Marussia MR01 (which we got more technica specs for than any other F1 team would ever have released to us, so arguably might be the most realistic F1 car you'll ever see in a sim)."

That's quite a heavy announcment, for rF2 standards. I've never heard them saying such big things.

Well thats great to hear. I've heard (someone on this forum said that they had experience of the matter) that porsche is expensive and quite anal about their cars, but I dont know does it mean roadcars or also racing.
RUF would be the number two choise, and I guess Gemballa third.

I know its so complicated game and people I know who got into it love it, I just dont get it how, its so slow game.
Was really just messing with ya. :p I've been all about hockey since I was 2 when I learned to skate (I cant remember but folks seem to) and Finnish to hockey is like a ghetto canadian so I'm more of an NHL junkie myself.

Le Mans (with an "a") would of course be very, very! cool, but I'd also really like to see, and drive, some banger racing like LeMons (like the the yellow fruit, also indicating lacking quality). However, that doesn't feel like ISI material, but rather someone making a mod. :)

Aaw Caterham would be nice to have ingame.
But i think since you can order their car in single peaces as a kit, it should be possible for skilled modders to do a very good job on one themselves, if they have access to one of those kits.
I guess there were very good Caterhams for RF1 already!? I don't own RF1, so i just hope for that :)

After reading this thread, I now understand why smaller games- like real sims- only have a handful of cars in a release (like the Simbin games with one main series and several other cars). I'm more impressed now with the scale of bigger driving games like Forza and the Gran Turismo series with the hundreds of licenses and cars they have. The mass appeal of those arcade racers and volume sales make it possible.

Yeah, one of the most difficult obstacles is to make someone who took a large fee from Sony or Microsoft to understand the differences between the mass appeal market, and ours, and why they should care about ours when there is so little return in it for them.
