up to you... also u should think about the right fov, because the Immersion of Speed also Change. for me the ffb Change very much when i press U ingame and move the cam Little bit up ist perfect to drive with Standard thrustmaster config
yes, devs were kind enough to add it in. I'm writing up a post about it to post in the unstable build.
yeah but if u Change ur seat Position and camera angle u got a altered perception because u looking in 2D to the Screen if u use 3D with glasses u can drive in every Position much better ..
In case Terence of another Dev doesn't/didn't see my earlier/first-impressions post in the unstable build, i'm reposting it here:
didn't find such a post :s Could you tell me now that the new build is released: do I need (or want) minimum steering torque ffb value with this wheel when it's set up 100/100/100/0/0, multi 0.33 and smoothing 0? Thanks in advance
After update, I don´t why, but I can´t find the steering torque minimun line. I´ve looked for in controller.ini and in plr file.
It wasnt there for me either franky. It appeared after I loaded the game and a track (I also loaded a controller profile as the game had broken my other one). Also 1.00000 = 100% so 0.08000 = 8% deadzone, I learned this from experience lol. I only did a couple of laps with it on 0.05 and their was too much vibration in the center for everyday use, the beneficial side is that it has constant tight FFB torque meaning that I could feel and catch slides instantly e.g. when touching a curb on the outside mid corner I would instantly feel it and correct where as before it would equal a much bigger moment. This could be a false reading though as I literally only drove 2 laps (in the megane at loch drummond).
You don't need to use 100% anymore. I used it to reduce the deadzone amount...this newc setting removes it completely. But if you insist in still using 100%, then maybe try 0.01-0.03 steering torque minimum values
I don't think it's a false positive, that's exactly what I experienced in the corners and braking too. I agree, oscillations annoying. I will be using 0.04 to minimise it.
