Thinking about improving FPS, a path to optimizing?

Actually I think it's fixed... I followed Alpha Bravo advice and tried to play around with alt+tab and alt+enter after game launched and it seems to be smooth now.

Looks like there's a bug with the Full Screen / Bordless / Windowed mode selection on RF2 launcher.

It's seems the software was running in a fake full screen mode which is fixed when I hit alt+tab twice and then alt+enter. Doing so apparently the game went to a real full screen mode and the game magically turned smooth.

I also reduced the 135" projector image in my nose to 100" which demanded less anti alias and full the visual field more realistically. The car dash has a more accurate size now as the real car dimensions.

 

Yep, the fake fullscreen and alt-tab problems have been a longstanding issue.
