a super duper online system to gather racers would be 1st priority fix bugs and further physics developing is 2nd imo
I can describe it as a hollow experience beside it looks like a mess at times, the older cars feel dead to drive with a T500RS, the Group 5s, the 962s and Group A Skyline don't feel like the cars of its period - been over 12 months since I've played for a short time, got a copy somewhere IMHO, if rF2 was the plain Jane Oxbridge graduate of sims, gradually better with age, then PC2 is the equivalent of one of the Kardashians - nice to look at but nothing exciting on the inside
On G25 with Jack Spades FFB file PC2 is anything but dead - most alive of any sim I've run. But I agree the older cars are sadly not its strong suit. Defaulting to modern tyres was not a good design choice IMO and the patchy offering of optional period tyres disappointing too - the Group 5s really need a period tyre. So back on topic - any news on this DLC?
@Godwind Racing Indeed some cars have terrible realization in pc2. But they are complete. I spent 600h racing online in pcars2. It have some minor bugs and yep some cars are terrible. But game is broken=lie. @F1Aussie There is career mode in pcars2
for pcars 2 you need to find a FFB file i was lucky enough to find one from a youtube channel for my Thrustmaster T150 makes a lot of difference plus need to setup all the sensitivity options for good
Might you suggest which "tools" you are referring to? I'd like to tweak my T300 for a more refined experience in AC...if that's possible. Merci.
For AC there is LUT generator. Much improved FFB for me. Depends on the wheel though, some people didn't like it. I think Logitech wheels benefit more from it. Not sure about T300.
I get the impression Reiza have overstretched themselves. With the recent Puma AMS dlc, the long awaited major manufacturer (McLaren?)) AMS dlc, work on Reiza 17 (19? 20?), and the rF2 dlc - its maybe too much for a small team.
Maybe. But maybe content creators are not as busy as programmers. Also making a pack for rF2 might have been good way to help with decision of engine choice.
I would just like them to communicate a little more on where they stand with the DLC. They have been soon^TM for a few months now. Getting an update on when it is expected to release would be nice and if dates slip at least a heads up on why. Last we heard was it was pushed out for the new shaders, but a revised release was never mentioned
They said it is back on their release schedule. No dates or anything, but it sounds like it is close for release. Who knows what that means though
I finely got AMS going and what a treat. Physics a little different. A little more grip but the grip can get you in trouble quick. Feels like a sibling to rFactor for sure.
No SuperV8 Nice new cars added though and a track/s: https://www.facebook.com/219924822742/posts/10157217970087743/
