Hi @Paul Jeffrey
Thank you very much.
One question.
Is it necessary to update the servers?
We have a race in some hours and i'd prefer to update the servers after the race.

Usually they put in "server administrators, you must update your servers" or something when that happens.

Also, I checked my rF2 install, it still says
1.1126
1126

In the version file.

EDIT: Just launched the game to check. I can still join the RaceDepartment servers. So no server update needed from the looks of it :)

as well as introducing the first of our new 3-monthly update cycle of content releases.

@Paul Jeffrey please elaborate on this: this quarterly release cycle was about content? This wasn't about the game engine? I had an impression that you moved to the quarterly release cycle of the game engine. LOL.

If that's it I'm seriously disappointed. Once again we get loads of payware content (which I have nothing against per se) and NO core changes to the game (bugfixes, AI, weather, etc). Few simple cosmetics in the UI. I was hoping for some serious patch drop in February.

Also wasn't the Norma supposed to get new tires as well? It's not in the changelog.

Client: 8157914

Dedicated Server: 8157923

UI

  • Tweaked styling on the buttons in the manage content page.
  • Tweaked styling on the buttons in certain server related pop-ups.
  • Tweaked styling on the Load Replay button in the replays page.
  • Added smoother transitions when navigating between pages in the singleplayer area.
  • Added functionality to copy the controller profile name to the controller profile save text field.
  • Fixed issue where package list sorting on manage content page got undone after content installation.
  • Fixed issue where the driver column with high values in the multiplayer page was cropped.
  • Fixed issue where unintended graphics settings were shown in the event settings screen.
  • Fixed inconsistency in slider value percentage rendering in settings pages.
  • Fixed issue where the restart race button was greyed out in servers.
  • Fixed issue where users couldn’t scroll down in the setup list.
  • Fixed issue where chat order got reversed around midnight.

further down the blog, the Norma changes are listed, no tires mentioned specifically, one would assume the Ligier has matching tires with the Norma, we just have to find out which ones.

Yes, that's what I meant, not mentioned in the Norma changelog. I've seen those changes listed.
