The Corvette is joining most of the WEC/Imsa GT2 fleet and going turbo for 2020 with the Corvette C8 R. (Zora?) So now we'll have a marvelous collection of Hoovers, Dysons, & Kirbys circulating around the Endurance Race Tracks of the World. Whoosh, there goes....well...I don't know which car that sounded like, Ford, Ferrari, & now Corvette have all added the extra escargot plumbing. The big ballsy sound of the American V8 will be lost, just like the echos of the Ford Cosworth DFV are all but forgotten.
