I see -both perfectly valid reasons I totally agree with contribution & support for modding +if it helps centralise a user base in the form of a league / consistent online partisapation then that's great Thanks
Now that I read it... The "our community first" I wrote is now reminding me to a similar slogan used by a blonde haired man that loves posting in twitter.
In the EEC GT3 mod this time we had a different approach by requesting people to ask us before using the mod for online leagues in the same time zone (CET). Some people actually did it. Then AMS itself became a barrier as the game gets unstable above 30 cars and we had like 45 wanting to race at the same time, but this is another topic. After that other leagues started appearing more in the same time zone Honestly what I learned after 5 or so years of helping with administration of this is that private stuff end up being only usefull to make the modder mad when it leaks, and this always happens, some people just want to troll
