As I UI/UX designer, something that always bother me in rF2 (since 1 actually) is that "message center". It's cluttered. All messages appear there, and they all look the same. And most of the time it mixes messages with totally different contexts, making it very hard to detect and understand while driving a race car. What I think that, at least would help, would be each message that the game gives having a "tag". So, modders can customize the HUD filtering areas for different informations. In example, create separate boxes for pit/team/car related messages, for server (driver connected etc.), for race control (follow X car on the outside line) transforming messages in icons (auto-cluch on F1 cars) and so on. Well, just my 2 cents! Really hoping someone from ISI see this. Cheers.
