Cheers lads, good to know. How do you find the cockpit textures? From the examples i have seen on the net they look a touch low in quality however maybe it was the individual users settings. Ill hunt around for a hi-res example to be sure.

I'd say just buy it. This is a very good mod, strong in all areas and on a par with ISI content for quality. Most importantly it's a good representation of the real-life series - high downforce, high grip, intense touring cars. Models look great by the way.

Given that we have a serious lack of good quality vehicle mods in rF2 at present, I think it's a shame for anyone to pass on this one. I do think the price of this mod is a little high and hopefully will be reduced at some point.

That said, as a big fan of the real life series I'm getting my money's worth from this mod. For those less interested, the price makes this mod a tougher choice. If you like the cars then you won't be disappointed.

 

There are problems with the sounds. I downloaded the demo version from their site without cockpit. I don't know if the pay version has fixed sounds or not and that's why I haven't bought it yet. The sounds are strange in replays, IE the car never sounds like its in the distance and some sounds like shifting always sound right next to your head. There are also loudness and levels problems. Please fix the sound because besides that issue its a great feeling car. Great work.

Sound is fine in the current version.

 

Yes, as Jamezinho mentioned, sounds and more are fixed in final version. Im trying to do new DEMO but i was busy putting some other car ingame. Sorry for that but will try to that as soon as posibile.

I tried this mod with the new 2012/13 skins by the SRRF modding Crew at the old Kyalami. I could not leave the garage as it felt as if the brakes were being applied thereby causing the tires to begin spinning.
I reset it in the controller menu although I still found that I had the same problem.
This particular track works well with mods such as the Lola T280.

Any suggestions here perhaps?

I have no idea now actually. This mods are completly diferent to and it might be that this converted track doesnt work well with our cars. Im not really sure now as i dont have that one eather but just with guessing i think it might be track related. Our T5 cars are completly up to date with latest build and everything else is working sofar. Will take a look into that but could be that track needs to be updated.

 

Hi Mingmong, this mod has improved since last update in physics department but still dosnt feel right imo, just cant get rid of this strange understeery sensation. But dont get me wrong there is plenty people that like this mod, its fun for me too, just not for long.The models are really nice to look at, especially with the latest skin pack they look amazing.
The FFB is ok, some strange braking spring sensations going on through my t500 with this mod but its not to bad.
Lastly the sounds are pretty good i think, good job there.

Better, worse or on par with ISI rf2 GT series? Quality-wise it's on par, physics can't be compared, because DTM (T5 I mean... ) cars are really different to GT cars in terms of grip and physics overall. But I like it, great fun and everything works great!

Aura T5 2012/13 so you have new DRS, Tires and physics just like in shop version now.
Car is limited like its not paintable and it has only 1 skin.

 

Good news for the guys who don't have the mod .

A little question (about the complete paid mod): the mod is configured with 480° rotation for the steering wheel, but the animation turn the wheel only 360°. It is normal or it's just me? (I have the same "problem" with some ISI mods too like the formula 3.5 but not all...).

 

We put online our mirror here too.

 

Yes, its right so, T5 cars were my first animated drivers and i think ISI will update them to in future so I did some basic driver for now. This will be updated in future for sure by me to.
