I'm encountering vibrations in T300RS when I am at full speed on straights. No vibrations when driving slower. Bare in mind this wheel os little over 2 years old. Didn't get any high speed vibrations in wheel with G29, is it because T300 is belt driven and has much more detailed FFB or I have some settings wrong (smoothing 2, multiplier 0,70, minimum torque 2,5, overall FFB strength in control panel 85%?
first things first. Have you tried this with a Car equipped with ABS brakes? High speed vibration is often a sign of flat spotting the tires. The effect has been reduced from several years ago, but still exists. So take out a car with ABS, any new GT3 for example, crank up the ABS to full and drive. If the vibration is gone, that would be a strong indication of flat spotting. If the vibration is still present, then reducing some of your FFB settings for the wheel might be in order.
Yes often I change my nickname but thats mine topic here https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/ffb-settings-for-t300.61966/ After many many tests, best setting for T300 is this (some modifications VS the original post) : 1. Thrusmaster Control Panel 1.1. Overall forces = 100% 1.2. Contant and Periodic = 100% 1.3. Spring and Damper = 0% 2. Ingame settings 2.1. FFB smoothing = 0 (OFF) 2.2. Vehicle set = yes 2.3. Car Specific FFB Mult = 0.75 For some rather rare cars it will be necessary to lower the value. 0.75 is suitable for 95% of S397 cars. By opening the "All vehicles" file (player folder), using the "replace by" function, you can do it for all cars at one time. 2.4. FFB Min Torque : 2.5% In the controller.json or ingame. Also, check the line OFFROAD MULTIPLIER on the Controler.Json : and set 1 (100%).
Actually I tried your settings but maybe due to old wheel or some other factors, I can feel the belt being very tight and the base kinda struggles with it. Is this okay or it shouldn't happen?
