Yep. Agree. I have no idea how to blend the grasses etc. I second that idea. A 10 step from scratch to do a simple track and get it in to game via the mod install.
My website Launched. Thought you guys might be interested, i Just launched my website http://www.whata-designs.com If you guys want to follow me on Twitter and like my page on Facebook i may just be prompted to do those tutorials sooner rather than later and i would be extremely grateful, No i'm clearly not above shameless plugs, hehe
This is an incredibly annoying piece of track to get blending properly and get the seams at an absolute minimum. End result isn't bad though even though my OCD is telling me to get the grass all perfect its nearly impossible so this will do Also new in this image, new Armco model on the left (right will be changed soon) and the inside of the hairpin has an extra piece of tarmac. Done some more modelling in the pitlane and the pitlane exit to make that more accurate to real life and added a tonne of bumps too the surface of the mesh track is now quite bumpy. some of them i placed randomly on the track and some of them i build by hand going from videos I've found.
I reckon I could help with laying some rubber down Great work WHAT21A keep it up can already feel my car rubbing that armco
Got bored again this evening and thought i would dust off my animations skills to see how easy it is to get custom animations into rfactor2, pretty easy as it turns out Click image to view video Gotta keep my view count up somehow hehe.
Finished Modelling the bridge that goes over the track at turn 3. Development has been much slower than i want because of my unviersity graduation that took place last week, moving back home over the weekend and the temperatures being nearly unbearable to work on my computer for prolonged periods (hits 40 degrees (C) in here with all my gear on during the day) what i wouldn't give for Air Conditioning.
