    Hello, I notice the suspension sounds are missing in the latest build 982, I tried to check, and it seems it's an issue since long time.

    I check and there was referenced with following lines, but these sounds are missing from Secondary.mas
    VS_INSIDE_SUSPENSION=4.00,Secondary\chassis_noise_2_in.wav
    VS_OUTSIDE_SUSPENSION=1.26,Secondary\chassis_noise_2_ex.wav

    Is there a way to get them back, or retrieve them if someone have them (I need them for our mods)?

    There is many ISI mod using these sounds (and modders mods), but now I not earring them when driving.

    The feature is working in rF2 (added compared to rF1), but the sounds are missing since several builds in the Secondary.mas.
    So I try to retrieve them to integrate them to our mods.

    I can read, i swear. :D

    The only file that i find, is the chassis_noise_1.wav, did you ever see the both files in a Secondary.Mas file included?

    I retrieve the b240, but same result, the files are not present :(

    So if ISI can provide them/update the Secondary.mas?

    I have an old install (version.txt says it's build 118) and the secondary.mas has a modified date of 22nd July 2011. It's nearly identical to the secondary.mas from the latest build, and from build 880, and 930, I'm not sure if any of the filenames are different at all but for sure they all just have a single "CHASSIS" file, and that's CHASSIS_NOISE_1.WAV.

    It seems unlikely the 2 files you're looking for were ever there. Are you sure the chassis noise does actually work? If you reference some very obvious (I'm thinking a loud 4kHz tone or similar) files in the .sfx file I'm sure you can soon confirm.

    *Sorry, by "chassis noise" I meant "suspension noise".

    These lines are extracted from the Megane Trophy, I have to test if they react with another sound to confirm they are active (I hope so).
    Thank you for research to help.

    An answer from ISI on this subject can avoid me to loose time in test to confirm.

    The chassis_noise_1.wav sounds more like turbulent air if anything, I was expecting suspension noise to be squeeky sounding.

    But are there any definitions for how it'll be used ? otherwise it could end up very repetitive and tiresome to listen to.

    And normally, if you hear a noice coming from your suspension, there is something broken. :D

    Well, in Denmark we have a saying (roughly translated): "If it's squeaking it's still holding" :)

    That has a lot of truth, the danger raises if there is only silence. ;)

    Suspension does do noises.. of course it does.. dont mean squealing, more like ambient impact noises. might be tyre and suspension combined, but you can defo hear driving over a bump high speed.. thats the kinda noises i have in mind
