I've been looking to increase my knowledge of car setup/geometry and was wondering if anyone has any links to some online reference material.

I've been reading through some of the stuff here http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_arti...categoryid/120/ultimate-suspension-guide.aspx

    Very interesting

Are there any suspension measurements/tools that real life engineers have access to that sim racers do not? ie extra info not received by telemetry.

I'm currently going through the information HERE, although around NASCAR it is not exclusive to it and the knowledge imparted is pretty good.

    Interesting . Thanks.

I think I'll stick with symmetrical setups for a bit. Easier to get your head around initially.

    Do you use Motec?

Yes, I'm using Motec. I finished reading that info last night and definitely gives you an understanding of what is what & as I said, although aimed at NASCAR, I found it educating and will definitely be approaching my set ups with notes in hand.
