I have windows 8.1 and I havent used suspension car editor before. When I run the exe and click 4 times ok, I get error can't find language DLL msain.dll Any advices?
Hi Jokeri, Hmm, that's new. Didn't had this yet. After the four clicks, the Tool calls the SkipBarber.mas with the Explorer. If windows has not linked ".mas" files to the ISI mas tool, then windows try to open this mas file with another app. It sounds, that installation of your rF2 is incomplete, or the mas extention is not registered. I recommend to unpack your SkipBarber.mas manually to the "map" folder. Hope this helps a bit. Leonardo
BTW Leonardo, have you considered to publish the sourcecode of your software in github, so people can help you with the development, translations etc?
Jokeri, Sorry this is no Option. Im using Delphi, the Source Code is huge. Many procedures are also for my other tools f.e. my track editor. I think a spread use of my source code costs me too much time for explaining and dokumentation. But thanks for your interest. Leonardo (Peter)
any news on this Leonardo Is anyone with some knowledge on this willing to do some tutorials on how to use it correctly. It's a shame to let this go to by.
Hi Nibiru, thanks for your interest. I'm still working hard on this project and proceeded with good results - fixed many bugs - Most important physics parameters are now working fine (especially the creating of suspension chassisfile) Reading and writing suspension files (Susp.ini and Susp.pm) now works fine. Currently i'm trying to convert a car to rfactor2 using the moddingtool. This small video shows a "naked" vehicle with a very weak suspension. If someone wants to trial this tool you find a link at first page of this topic. Please read the hints and backup your files before using it. So stay tuned to get more information's from this little project. Leonardo (Peter)
Great news Leonardo Keep up the great work I have no knowledge of car modding and physics but I do have a car model I have in game that I want to make the suspension for. So I'll have a play with this new version. Thanks for your hard work
