How about having a pinned thread with known issues in it that is moderated and only accessible for editing by S397 or someone else tasked with the job. This would help to reduce the number of duplicate questions asked different ways and also allow for a simple status to be kept. Then just delete ones that are solved. Doesn't need timeframes for resolution, just acknowledgment that it is a bug and will be addressed would be a good start.
